Little Witches Brew: Cider and Simmer Pots

Sunday, October 18 @12-1:30pm

About Maddie Seder:
I was born and raised in the Great Lake state and had a profound pull to Mother Earth’s grounding energy from a young age. I grew up playing in forests, making mud potions, and looking for rocks on Lake Superior. I knew that a part of my soul resided within that lake and that is when I first realized that medicine exists in all different forms. Ever since then, I’ve been called on this journey of reconnecting with the earth and natural medicine, and teaching others along the way.
In 2021, my best friend and I packed up our belongings and my cats and moved to the PNW. My first job here was a wilderness therapy guide where I had the absolute honor of facilitating connection and healing conversations held under the Ponderosas. I also worked as a Forest School teacher where I spent my days journeying through the forest, teaching the local flora and fauna, and witnessing the curiosity and excitement of little stewards of nature.
I’m currently enrolled in The Herbal Academy where I am working on my Advanced Herbal Course. My next step is a clinical herbalist certification. It is my dream to open an herbalism summer camp for kiddos.
When I’m not working at the apothecary, I can be found curled up with a book, on a backpacking trip, swimming in lakes, or making my own potions in my kitchen.
