For some of you, the thought of altering your diet is scary. For others, it’s not. But, either way, maybe all you need is a little nudge, someone to walk it through with you and guide you through the process of a Spring Body Love Cleanse

 

According to Ayurveda, living in sync with seasonal changes, including eating seasonal foods, is the basis for optimal health and longevity. And with a seasonal diet comes natural fluctuations in weight.

 

We are hardwired to gain weight in the fall in order to insulate and feed our bodies , and store fuel for the long, cold, and dark winter months ahead. The fall growing season is just right for grains and sweet and starchy crops like potatoes, which are the perfect foods for bulking up.

 

Up pops spring, and people can shed any extra pounds by changing their primary fuel supply from carbohydrates to fats. In the spring, carbs and starches were scarce before access to global farms. Seasonally available foods include nuts and seeds, bitter leafy greens, and meat.  We are pre-programmed to naturally restrict calories in the spring (there is a reason many religious fasts are in the spring). This restriction makes us burn our own fat as fuel—exactly what we are looking for in an Ayurvedic detox, making spring the perfect season to sync with your circadian rhythm, healthy weight and revitalize your gut microbiome.

 

Learn how our bodies adjust to seasonal eating and why change is good, learn recipes and self-care practices to support your circadian rhythms, and digest well. The ability to detox well is highly dependent on the ability to digest well. The Spring Body Love Cleanse is designed to reset the body’s natural ability to digest and be a better fat/fuel burner. This is an ideal practice for both those of you who would like to shed fat in a body positive way and for those of you seeking strategies to release toxins and cravings without weight loss.

 

We will meet Sunday April 13th 11:30-1:00, Tuesday 15th 5:30-7:00, Sunday 20th 11:30-1:00, Tuesday 22nd 5:30-7:00.

This session is limited to 6 participants.
We will add additional sessions with enough interest.

Investment in you $126 for all four, hour-and-a-half sessions.

Kat Gregory E-RYT, CRRT, BS, AHC will be guiding you safely through this healthy detox!
